Witnesses to testify include Mohbad’s sister-in-law, Karimot Ogunbayo; Boluwatife Adeyemo, aka Darosha; Mohbad’s lawyer, Oluwasanmi Falade; nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe; and driver Fidelis Esanbor. Magistrate T. A. Sotobi granted an application to serve witness summons through national newspapers and social media to ensure their prompt attendance. The court also granted a recall for Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and the IPO in charge of the case, ASP Muhammad Yusuf, to clarify new issues that have arisen.
Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, and his death has been surrounded by significant controversy and social media buzz.
