Avril Lavigne has shared her rebound single, ‘Head Above Water’ – tune in to the insubordinate new track underneath.

The ‘Sk8er Boi’ vocalist declared her arrival to music not long ago, writing in a passionate explanation to fans about how her ongoing knowledge doing combating Lyme sickness had helped shape her current imaginative standpoint.

“Those were the most exceedingly terrible long stretches of my life as I experienced both physical and passionate fights,” she composed. “I could transform that battle into music I’m extremely pleased with. I composed tunes in my overnight boardinghouse the love seat and recorded there for the most part also. Words and verses that were so consistent with my experience came spilling out of me easily.”

Lavigne has followed through on her guarantee of new music by discharging ‘Head Above Water’ today (September 19), which generally draws on her battle engaging the malady.

“I thought I was biting the dust, and I had acknowledged that I would kick the bucket,” Lavigne wrote in an announcement going with the track.
