Early and Educational Life
Aramide Sarumoh was born in Lagos Nigeria. She spent her childhood in Jos. She is from Ibadan, Oyo State.
She is a graduate of University of Jos where she obtained a Bachelor degree in Political Science.
She develop her singing, song writing and instrumentalist skills while in Jos. Aramide grew up in a music orientated family where her love for music began. She started singing and song writing when she was in the High school. She learnt to play the saxophone and guitar after her school days.
Aramide first appear publicly on Tv in 2006 were she contested in one of Nigeria most prestigious and competitive music talent hunt shows “Star Quest” whwre she was the 3rd Runner up.
She didn’t have any significant record made available on air for about 2 years after she contested at “Star Quest 2006”.
In 2008 she was part of a show called “Divas Unplugged’ a show which contains female hosts in her familiar city Jos.”Divas Unplugged’ the show had all the leading female artistes in the Nigerian music industry and her participation in this show was very challenging and rewarding, and her performance and involvement was very inspiration.
In 2011 she released her first official official track “Killing Me” a song produced by Sizzle.
In 2012 she released another single “It’s Over” which she released the video in 2017. Her first two singles were released under Trybe Records.
On February 3rd, 2014 she released her third single “Felling the Feeling”. On September 9, 2014 she got signed to Baseline Music after she exits Trybe Records.
On February 4th, 2015 she released her first song under Baseline Music “Iwo Nikan” she got her first professional award of her career at the Headies 2015 edition which was held at the Landmark Events Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos where she won the Best Vocal Performance (Female). Her song “Iwo Nikan” was her breakthrough in the Nigeria music industry.

November 22, 2016 Aramide released her debut album “SUITCASE” she features Sound Sultan, Ice Prince, Adekunle Gold, Koker and Sir Dauda. Productions credits include Cobhams, Laitan Dada, SizzlePRO, and Tintin.
In 2017, Aramide embark on her debut world tour which took place in United States, Ghana and Nigeria titled “Aramide Suitcase Live” (ASL). She performed at the legendary Sounds Of Brazil (SOBs) in New York, the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk among other locations.
Her single “I Don’t Care” was spotted on number 1 spot on MTN Yhello Top 10 Nigeria Chart, number 4 on Alternative Music Naija Chart on Top Radio 90.9 FM and number 3 on Alternative Nigeria Chart on Radio Continental 102.3FM. Also “Love Me” picked on number 1 spot on Alternative Nigerian Chart on The Beat 99.9 FM and on number 3 spot on Playdata Chart.(Wikipedia)
