Ayra Starr gave an exciting performance at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival. The artiste, who made her debut on the festival stage, performed tracks like “Woman Commando” “Bloody Samaritan”, “Rush”, and “Sability“. “Woman Commando” is on Ayra Starr’s latest project, The Year I Turned 21, while “Bloody Samaritan” is from the 19 & Dangerous album. “Rush” and “Sability” is a solo single. During the performance, the artiste displayed energetic dance moves as she kept the crowd entertained.
Other artistes set to perform at the festival include Burna Boy, Shania Twain, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, and Michael Kiwanuka. African artistes who have played at Glastonbury in previous years include Angélique Kidjo, Seun Kuti and his Egypt 80 band, Wizkid, Tems, and rapper Sampa the Great.
